We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join our vibrant Accounting + Finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to leverage their expertise in managing a wide range of tax-related functions, including corporate, individual, federal, and state tax as well as handling high net worth clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax planning, compliance, and research, with a keen eye for identifying potential tax savings and implementing effective strategies.

Responsibilities:

As a Tax Manager, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of:

  1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and documentation for a diverse portfolio of clients, including corporations, individuals, and high net worth entities.
  2. Conducting thorough research to stay abreast of changes in federal and state tax laws and regulations, and applying this knowledge to optimize tax strategies.
  3. Coordinating with internal teams and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
  4. Providing expert guidance to clients on tax implications of their business decisions, and proposing strategies to minimize tax liability.
  5. Reviewing and approving complex tax returns and resolving tax issues efficiently.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in tax accounting or a related field.
  2. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA certification or advanced degree is highly desirable.
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of corporate, individual, federal, and state tax laws and regulations.
  4. Proven experience in managing high net worth clients and complex tax situations.
  5. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret tax data and financial reports.
  6. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
