TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Louisville, Kentucky, 40215 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 weekly Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience with ventilators and drip titration - Critical care experience Job Description: - Provide comprehensive care to ICU patients, including those with ESRD, COPD, respiratory failure, and post-cardiac arrest - Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, demonstrating attention to detail and teamwork - Adhere to dress code with galaxy blue top and galaxy blue or black pants, while avoiding unacceptable attire like sweatshirts or shoes with holes - Use Cerner EMR system for documenting patient care - Float between ICU and CCU as necessary, maintaining patient ratios of ICU 2:1 and CCU 4:1 - Utilize equipment such as ventilators, NxStage CRRT, arterial lines, and central lines - Work every third weekend with no on-call requirements - Adhere to blackout dates for holidays This opportunity welcomes skilled professionals to join a dynamic healthcare facility offering a full range of cardiac, surgical, and emergency services.
