Job Summary: Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day operations of clinical research studies and programs targeting individuals with clinical conditions such as cancer at the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center. Assist with setting up Epic training and access for research professionals to reserve space and resources in the clinic for research studies. Be the liaison between the research studies and the clinic manager and team, assisting with workflows associated with clinical trials, distributing research supplies, supporting research and clinical teams. Assist with research study workflows and operating procedures when utilizing clinic space and resources. Ensure research staff are trained appropriately. Facilitate the setting up of fitness center memberships, tours and orientations to the fitness center for individuals involved in research programs at the AHWC. Responsible for integrating research activities in the center including but not limited to data collection on number of visits, space utilized, and research project invoicing. Provide outreach to groups interested in potentially conducting research studies or delivering programs targeting people with specific health conditions at the AHWC. Schedule subject participation in research clinical trial, coordinating availability of necessary space, and clinical research support (e.g., physician, nurse practitioner, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy). Ensure that the necessary supplies and equipment for studies are in stock and in working order. Assist with coordinating study supplies drop-off and pick-up in the AHWC. Ensure smooth communication between research staff and other staff (e.g., clinic and fitness) Create a database and maintain records on the utilization of the AHWC for research and clinical programs for annual reports to the Dean, Chancellor and NORC. Develop and update phone contact list for research studies and communicate and share with center managers and areas. Monitor and track new research study requests via Formstack forms and ensure all approved research studies have MOU's implemented. Manage deadlines and tracking for research-related MOU's, working with the Finance Manager to ensure all studies are billed accurately and in a timely manner. Responsible to develop a tracking sheet for all research conducted at AHWC and will assist with annual reporting on this data. Support the Director of Research Integration with setting up meetings, distributing agendas and minutes, and creating/updating tracking and data measurements for reports and stakeholder feedback.
