We are seeking experienced SAS programmer analysts to join a Biostatistical Consulting Unit to provide programming and biostatistical support to research studies in all fields of medicine led by clinicians (including medical residents).Description of position: The programmer will support internally funded retrospective research studies, from development of research question, study design and methods, Institutional Review Board (IRB) proposal development and approval; through analytic data base development, data analysis, interpretation of results; to development of abstracts, presentations, and publications.

Required Skills & Experience
Masters Degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health or similar3+ years of experience in data analytics or related field and within medical or health analytics2+ years of experience with study design and statistical methods, statistical modeling experience using SAS, R and other advanced statistical methods, and with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)SAS base programming specialist certified + proficiency in SQL (2+ years)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in cancer related research studies strongly preferredSAS Advanced based programming professional certified1+ year statistical consulting experiencePublications experience as an author in medical or scientific journals
