TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Akron, Ohio, 44304 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - PCU/Telemetry Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit/Telemetry Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Must-Have: - Recent Epic experience within the past 12 months - Charge nurse experience Job Description: - Perform patient care primarily in an Acuity Adaptable Unit, where patient ratios are dynamic based on the acuity level. - Patient ratios may vary from 1:4 for Progressive Care Unit (PCU) level patients to 1:6 for medical/surgical level patients. - Work in a Regional Float Pool with a primary assignment on an adaptable unit but may be reassigned based on census and skillset. - Provide care for an overflow of patients. - Required to work every other weekend and two out of three holidays. - Interview required to proceed in hiring process; availability for call must be listed. - Dress code requires specific attire.
