Job Title : Data Center Cable InstallerJob Overview:We are seeking a
Data Center Cable Installer
to join our team supporting live Data Center projects across the USA. The role involves the installation of fiber optics and copper cables on predetermined routes within data centers, requiring manual handling, attention to detail, and professionalism. You will work closely with a team and under the supervision of a team leader to ensure all installations are completed to the highest standard.Key Responsibilities:Unbox and unpack cables.Scan cable barcodes using the provided client scanner.Label cables following the cable schedule.Pull and route cables according to designated paths.Professionally dress cables using velcro wraparound ties.Patch cables into the correct ports on switches.Test copper and fiber optic cables using equipment such as the Fluke tester.Terminate copper cables and splice fiber optic cables.Follow safety guidelines and use the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary.Operate mobile working platforms (electric and non-electric) for tasks at low heights above the ground.Requirements :Experience in the installation and termination of copper and fiber optic cables.Familiarity with cable testing equipment such as the Fluke tester.Ability to handle cables and equipment manually, including unboxing, scanning, labeling, and routing.Capable of working on mobile platforms at low heights.Basic knowledge of data center operations and cabling infrastructure is preferred.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.Ability to work efficiently in a team and follow supervision.Work Schedule :Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMIncludes a 1-hour lunch break daily.Compensation :
