This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about finance and engineering and is eager to make a significant impact on our company's financial operations. You'll be working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where your analytical skills and financial acumen will be put to the test. You will be responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision analysis. This role requires a deep understanding of corporate financials, financial modeling, data mining, and advanced Excel skills. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues including valuation, profitability, forecasting, and financial reporting. Analyze and interpret financial data and compile detailed reports for management. Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Prepare Profit and Loss statements, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance. Manage logistics and supply chain financials, identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements. Utilize ERP, specifically Dynamics Great Plains, to streamline financial processes and data analysis. Conduct thorough financial analysis, identifying variances, trends, and anomalies. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights to drive business performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and recommendations.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An advanced degree or certification such as a CFA or CPA is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial analysis role within the engineering or related industry. Strong experience in financial modeling, corporate financials, and data mining. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas and Excel modeling. Solid understanding of accounting principles and experience with the general ledger, profit and loss statements. Experience in logistics and supply chain financial management. Proficiency in ERP systems Exceptional financial analysis skills, with a strong focus on accuracy and detail. Proven experience in variance and KPI analysis. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about business issues.
