In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of BMS controls for a wide range of commercial and industrial projects. Your technical expertise will play a critical role in ensuring that our systems operate efficiently and meet the needs of our clients.Key Responsibilities: Perform the installation and commissioning of BMS control systems, including wiring, programming, and calibrating sensors, controllers, and other related equipment. Integrate BMS with other building systems such as HVAC, lighting, and security. Ensure seamless communication between different subsystems for optimal building performance. Diagnose and resolve technical issues with BMS controls, including hardware malfunctions, software bugs, and network communication errors. Provide prompt support to minimize system downtime. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on BMS systems to ensure long-term reliability and efficiency. Identify potential issues before they become critical and take corrective action. Develop and modify control programs to meet specific project requirements. Configure user interfaces, set up alarms, and create reports that help clients monitor and manage their building systems. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support. Offer training to facility staff on the operation and maintenance of BMS systems. Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Ensure that all work is documented in accordance with company standards and client requirements. Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while performing fieldwork. Ensure that all installations and maintenance work comply with industry standards and codes.Qualifications: Associate degree in Electronics, HVAC, or a related field; or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience working with BMS or building automation systems. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and networking. Proficiency in BMS platforms such as Tridium, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or Honeywell. Experience with programming languages used in BMS, such as BACnet, Modbus, or LON. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites.Interested in hearing more?
