This individual will serve as the Owner's Representative and will be integral in overseeing all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of our construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, with a special focus on MEP systems. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical systems, project management, and the ability to coordinate effectively with various departments and external contractors. The Mechanical Project Manager will report directly to the Project Director and will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.Responsibilities: Oversee all stages of project life cycle including conception, design, construction, and completion. Manage and coordinate with the in-house team and external contractors to ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations comply with project specifications and standards. Develop and maintain project schedules, identify potential issues and provide solutions to keep the project on track. Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule, and prepare status reports to keep stakeholders informed. Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Conduct site inspections and meetings to monitor progress and quality of work. Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients. Review and approve contractor and vendor payments, change orders, and other project-related financial transactions. Manage project documentation and ensure all aspects of the project are properly recorded and stored. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team as needed.Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the construction industry with a focus on MEP systems. Strong knowledge of construction processes, mechanical systems, and industry best practices. Proven track record of managing large scale construction projects from start to finish. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proficient in project management software and other relevant computer applications. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of construction laws and regulations. Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
