Reviews construction documents and understands scope of work to bid. 2. Manage assigned customer accounts.3. Prepare estimates and quotations for commercial projects1. Review construction drawings and bid specifications to complete a take off2. Assess and measure openings and other portions of a job site3. Prepare estimates based on required material and labor4. Prepare and submit written quotations and proposals to customers4. Design and prepare shop drawings for commercial storefront, curtainwall, and other commercial glass projects.5. Order necessary material for projects.6. Work with the operations team to prepare for and to provide technical assistance during a project’s fulfillment. 7. Utilize the company’s CRM to enter quotes, project opportunities, and awarded jobs.8. Attends departmental meetings as required. Competencies1. Ability to work successfully with a team as well as independently2. Ability to stay organized and manage multiple work assignments3. Ability to read construction drawings 4. Organized with attention to detail5. Ability to travel depending on project locations6. Ability to use office software system such as Excel, Word, email, and the company’s CRM.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in an office/shop environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Work may require visiting the shop and job sites in the field.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.TravelNo overnight travel is expected for this position.Required Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED diploma1. 5+ years of Glazing experience;
