Prepare legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, and real estate closing statements. Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations. Negotiate settlements of civil disputes. Confer with colleagues to establish and verify the basis for legal proceedings. Supervise legal assistants and junior attorneys, providing guidance and mentorship. Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest developments in law and in the specific area of practice. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law. Maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality as per the legal industry standards.Job DetailsQualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the state bar. Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a strong emphasis on family law. Proven track record of representing clients in court and achieving favorable results. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in clear, understandable language. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage a large caseload and meet deadlines. Proficiency in legal research tools and software. Commitment to adhering to the highest ethical and professional standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to mentor and guide junior attorneys.
