Supportive team environment.Job DetailsKey Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in the preparation and trial of insurance defense cases, focusing on personal injury, premise liability, and subrogation matters. Medical chronologies and digesting depositions Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case strategies and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Manage all aspects of discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses, organizing document productions, and preparing for depositions. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal rules of procedure
Coordinate with expert witnesses and manage the compilation of expert reports and testimonies. Assist in settlement negotiations and prepare settlement agreements and releases. You WILL NOT be required to:
e-file, court file, calendar, schedule depositions, prepare cover letters and file management Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of paralegal experience (must have 3+ in insurance defense) Must have a paralegal certificate from an accredited program or a college degree Familiar with billing practices and timekeeping Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and experience with legal case management software. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trial preparation and trial support. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
