This role is crucial in supporting our innovative clients and attorney team throughout the patent application process.Why join us?Opportunity to grow and great/fun environment!Job DetailsResponsibilitiesPrepare and file domestic and international patent applicationsConduct preliminary patent searches and assist with prior art analysisDraft and proofread patent-related documents, including Information Disclosure Statements (IDS)Manage and update patent dockets, ensuring adherence to critical deadlinesCoordinate with foreign associates for international patent filingsAssist in preparing USPTO office action responsesGenerate client reports and maintain accurate billing recordsIdeal Candidate Qualities:Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsProactive approach to learning new technologies and legal proceduresTechnical Requirements:Familiarity with patent prosecution software (e.g., Foundation IP, PatentCenter)Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and ExcelExperience with patent drawings and formatting specificationsKnowledge of USPTO and PCT filing proceduresQualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree Minimum 3 years of hands-on patent prosecution experienceParalegal certification is a plusInterested in hearing more?
