The ideal candidate will be responsible for the company's financial processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow and expand your accounting skills in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of financial procedures, including but not limited to, journal entries, payroll expenses, payroll deductions, credit memos, unapplied cash, accounts payable, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting.Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports; Monthly profit and loss forecast by division (vs. budget); weekly cash flow forecast. Complete analysis of financial results; Develop recommendations (strategic and tactical). Assist in the development of financial planning and analysis spreadsheets and reports.

Develop and execute processes to allow for routine analytical reviews of company financial and operational performance, leveraging business unit analytical resources and tools. Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation of selected asset and liability accounts for accuracy. Analyze and reconcile payroll expenses and deductions. Prepare and manage credit memos and handle unapplied cash. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. 2+ years of experience in Accounting or related field, preferably in the Manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Proficiency in Accounts Payable & Receivable, General Ledger Accounting, and Account Reconciliation. Strong understanding of accounting theory and principles. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy and precision. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.Interested in hearing more?
