In addition, to mechanical inspection, this position involves tasks such as running tests, keeping a record of defects, analyzing products, and overseeing procedures. Commitment to and support of the Company's Core Values and quality objectives are key to success in this position.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Verify all traveler sign-offs have been completedVerify all SPC sheets have been completed and signed offInspection reportsVerify calibration of all inspection toolingGenerate Non-Conformance reports for all discrepant materialIdentify potential issues/problems and recommend corrective action measures, as applicableComplete all paperwork and documentation required with work orderMeet customer requirements by following work instructions including work orders and specification sheetsIndependently operate equipment in an efficient and safe manner while meeting required quality standardsMaintain a clean and organized work areaUphold the company core valuesInspect parts to print (technical drawings)Knowledge of GD&TFamiliar with inspection tooling, height gages, calipers, and micrometersOther duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
