Job Summary:
The Inspector/Packer is responsible for inspecting, weighing, packaging, and sorting defective medical molded plastic components.
This position requires excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures while maintaining cleanliness in a clean room environment.
Key Responsibilities:Inspect, weigh, and package medical molded plastic components.Sort out defective products and ensure quality through visual inspection using magnification tools.Manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, or equipment.Maintain a clean work area and follow clean room procedures.Complete production records and work order documentation accurately.Weigh, count, package, and label finished products.Required Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand procedures and production documentation.Good hand/eye coordination for manual assembly of small components.Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Experience with inventory management systems is desirable.High School Diploma or GED required.Must be 18 years of age.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Work is performed in a clean room environment.Must be able to sit or stand for long periods depending on the assigned machine.Ability to operate a computer or touchscreen for entering work order data.Must be able to occasionally move and lift objects up to 25 lbs.
