Job Summary:Dexian is seeking a Business Analyst w/ WMS for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:Performing business analysis activities at the strategic, operational, and organizational level; working with key users in the continual improvement of business processesHighlight/identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with stakeholders on moderate to highly complex projects.Collaborating on project efforts in the support of existing systems, processes, services and/or in the execution of new projects, including:Capturing Business User Stories and RequirementsProviding analytical support to maximize product performance by understanding system capabilities,user needs, and user experience.Creating detailed Functional Designs for technical counterpartsCreating and executing test plans, including capturing and working through solutions to defectsDevelop user documentation for newly created processes and system enhancementsProject timelines are communicated to the Project Managers and are completed on timeUses logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
Requirements:Graduate degree in information systems, computer science, or a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience7+ years of experience supporting IT systems, processes or capabilities. General understanding of IT processes and dynamics within a complex, highly integrated environmentA solid understanding of industry best practices in retail or IT; specific demonstrated experience mapping business processes and comparing those processes to industry best practicesStrong analytical, problem solving, and root cause analysis skillsUnderstanding of application development and software development lifecycle conceptsGood written and verbal communication skills are crucial for working with all stakeholders (i.e. Use Case and User Story Development)Preferred experience with Agile and Waterfall approachesDexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
