Registered Nurse - CVOR @ Cleveland Clinic Florida - Weston

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: CVOR Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 17:15) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours for 8/10's Experience: Minimum of 18 months required, 2 years preferred, with direct CVOR experience License: Current state-specific nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submission), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) Must-Have: Experience in Cardiac OR Job Description: - Participate in CVOR cardiac and other surgical cases as required.- Be available for cardiac call, with a minimum of 6 calls per month.- Adapt to facility needs, including floating within scope.- Complete time-sensitive training modules promptly once confirmed for an assignment.- Maintain a smoke-free status; all travelers must be nicotine-free with no exceptions.- Complete a negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start.- Undergo EKG and Pharm tests with two attempts maximum each during orientation.- Accommodate a non-block schedule; first-time travelers are accepted.- Provide two references from a direct supervisor/manager or director for the unit submitted.- Complete 16 hours of orientation.
