Mortgage Servicing Specialist (Level I)Location: Charlotte, NCDuration: 12 months with possible contract to hireDescription:Documentation background.Experience with mortgage.Lifting 30lbs is a part of the job.Towards end of month working two days late until 7pm to process loans is required.Ensures that loan documentation and lien perfection meet bank policies and procedures and that work products are delivered in an accurately and timely mannerSupports documentation reviews, due diligence activities, collateral perfection, and the monitoring of loan documentation for a specific market segmentReviews documents for accuracy, timely delivery, and necessary research requirements to ensure documentation reflects the appropriate transactional information and elimination of controllable reworkAssists with reviewing the loan approval and loan documents prepared by counsel to ensure consistency and adherence to requirementsDesigns a robust filing and organizational process to assist in completing primary financial booking and initial loan fundingWorks closely with Client Managers, Credit and Portfolio Officers, agency management, internal and external legal counsel, and many internal operational support units to ensure seamless execution of transactionsReviews documents for accuracy, timely delivery, and necessary research requirements to ensure documentation reflects the appropriate transactional information and elimination of controllable reworkProcessing and scanning of documentationTracks information and controls file accessArchive and purge of outdated data per record retention standardsComplete inventory of existing filesRequired Qualifications1+ years of financial industry experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational, writing, and client/customer communication skillsExperience with Microsoft Office ProductsAbility to handle stressful situations and deadline pressuresMulti-task oriented - able to fluidly move between tasksDetail oriented and be able to work independently, as well as in a team environmentAble to lift 30 poundsExperience with MortgageScanning documents.Loan IQ plus.As an equal opportunity employer, ICONMA prides itself on creating an employment environment that supports and encourages the abilities of all persons regardless of race, color, gender, age, sexual orientation, citizenship, or disability.
