St. Albans Transport Driver

**Job Description****$2,500** Sign on Bonus Offered to Eligible Candidates**General Purpose:**Utilizing DFA tractor and trailer, to transport raw milk from depot to processing plant**Duties and Responsibilities:**+ Operates a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practices+ Following dispatch schedule and directions from dispatch and location supervisory personnel, travels to location to transport raw milk+ Takes measures to minimize truck idle times and conserve fuel consumption+ Verify proper documentation (Load number/Seal numbers/etc.) to validate load delivery and destination.+ Disassemble, clean, and re-assemble trailer pumps to maintain proper cleanliness at a food grade level.+ Always represents DFA positively and professionally during interactions with customers, or regulatory personnel+ This is a full-time position**Pay and Benefits:**+ Competitive pay+ Eligible for Quarterly bonuses+ Medical+ Dental+ Vision+ 401k Employer Match+ Generous vacation+ Rotating Schedules+ Return Home Daily+ We are proud to offer access to your wages on-demand, no need to wait for pay day!+ And more...**Requirements****Education and Experience**+ High School Diploma or GED or equivalent Preferred+ Must have a current CDL (Class A) in state of residence.+ Must have, or be able to obtain, a tanker endorsement.+ Minimum of 1-year verifiable CDL driving experience (military experience does count towards this requirement)+ In lieu of 1-year verifiable driving experience, driver applicants may have successfully graduated from a FMCSA Entry-Level Driver Training certified driving school.+ Must be at least 21 years of age.+ Must meet all DOT requirements.**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**+ Knowledge of DOT procedures, rules, and requirements+ Ability to communicate effectively in the English language both orally and in writing+ Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)+ Ability to read and record accurate volume and weight measurement+ Good organization and record keeping skills+ PunctualityAn Equal Opportunity Employer
