Intercare Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our subacute facility team in Los Altos, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:Assist physical therapists in conducting patient evaluations to assess their physical abilities and limitationsImplement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, strength, and functionalityProvide therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance patients' physical capabilitiesEducate patients and their families on home care instructions and adaptive equipmentCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient careMaintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plansParticipate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care strategiesQualifications:
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in CaliforniaStrong clinical skills and knowledge of various therapeutic techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to providing high-quality patient care and continuous professional developmentSchedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per weekMonday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PMNo weekend rotationFacility Details:
