The Role
Fidelity Investments is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer who is passionate about their craft and designing clean solutions to help our financial professional users make intelligent decisions. It’s a customer-obsessed environment where user experience designers are close partners of our product development team.
The Expertise and Skills you Bring
- 8+ years of UX or related experience; degree in a related field such as interactive design, architecture, industrial design, graphic design, or human factors preferred
- Experience working on agile teams delivering value in digital products preferred
- Able to effectively communicate and explain design rationale to business and technical partners
- Crafting UIs and flows for new and existing web and mobile products. Experience with Figma preferred
- An array of design skills, which might include visual, conversational, information architecture, prototyping, strategic design methods (such as design thinking), user research, or writing
- Collaborating with the product owner to help inform product strategy
- Contributing to the culture of the UXD group
- A digital portfolio we can review online is required
- Familiarity with the value of design systems, understanding reuse and scale, and knowing when to contribute to make them better
This role supports the PB Optimize (PBO) group at Fidelity. PBO is a cloud-based portfolio finance solution that brings transparency to the securities lending marketplace. Our customers are sophisticated institutional money managers.
