Our TEAM is searching for an EXPERIENCED Landscaping Equipment Operator (String Trimmer operator) to join our dynamic team to Direct Report to a location in Milford, MI. ???? ? ??????? ????RATE OF PAY IS DEPENDENT UPON PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES YOU HOLD, STARTING RANGE OF PAY IS $16 - $20 PER HOUR.Heres what youd do:The Landscape Laborer uses hand and/or power tools or equipment to perform a wide range of landscape and irrigation duties. Your MAIN duty will be to use a String Trimmer (Weed whip) to help maintain this facility. There may be other duties or equipment you could be asked to do and/or use, training will be provided if needed for those pieces of equipment.Youd be responsible for:+ Cutting turf, trimming and edging along borders, and blowing using power equipment+ Pruning shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damaged branches+ Planting and maintaining flower beds, and applying mulch+ Picking up trash and debris+ Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe+ Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests and customersYou might be a good fit if:+ Youre at least 18 years old+ Youre enthusiastic and dependable+ Youre able to safely work with equipment like power saws and cutters+ Landscapers who will be operating a BrightView fleet vehicle are required to have a valid drivers license and clean driving recordHeres what to know about working here:Here at BrightView, were as passionate about caring for our clients as we are about caring for each other.
