Employment Type: ContractReference: BH-379108As a Software Engineer with a focus on applications and services on the Tools & Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for writing the application software that will serve as the debug and diagnostic toolchain for a next generation electric vehicle platform. You will build software that helps software, hardware, and test engineers as well as service techs visualize communications, interact with vehicle software, and diagnose issues.ResponsibilitiesDevelop highly reliable software services using modern development methodologiesCreate new applications that improve visualization and diagnostics of a modern vehicle platformWork with systems, controls, and platform engineers to deploy new diagnostic reporting flowsDevelop and document clear APIs to facilitate access to underlying data and signalsDesign and develop back-end infrastructure for web and client applicationsQualificationsThe minimum requirements we seek:A minimum of 5 years developing softwareProficiency in at least one high level programming language such as Python, C++, Go, or Rust (most of the apps are currently in Python, team is starting to look at Rust)Proficiency in common scripting languages and toolsWorking knowledge of gitExcellent leadership, communication and teamwork skillsPreferred Requirements:Experience building or working with real-time embedded systemsProficiency with SQL and NoSQL database technologiesExperience with automotive communications and diagnostic protocols such as UDS, DoCAN, and DoIPExperience with DBC, LDF, and ARXML databasesEstimated Min Rate:
