We are seeking a Head of Fabrication Engineering who will be responsible for leading the fabrication engineering team to develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes and technologies. Your leadership will be essential in driving innovation, improving operational efficiency, and achieving our strategic objectives in the fabrication sector.Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Define and implement the strategic vision for the fabrication engineering department, aligning with company goals.Serve as the subject matter expert in fabrication technologies, including welding, brake press forming, robotics, and laser cutting.Oversee the development and execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Analyze current fabrication processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.Implement industry best practices and innovative solutions to optimize production capabilities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure alignment on engineering initiatives.Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing technical insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.Manage engineering projects from conception through execution, ensuring all deliverables meet organizational objectives.Prepare and present technical reports and updates to internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.Experience in fabrication engineering with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role.Proven track record in managing engineering teams and driving successful project outcomes in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.Extensive knowledge of fabrication processes, including welding, brake press forming, robotics, and laser cutting.Strong project management skills with experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Job Type:
