Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/11/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel 36 or 48 Hour Guarantee Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adolescents to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: No Block Scheduling; mixed MS/Tele and Intermediate patients, neuro (small population), respiratory, cardiac, mixed medical, titrating cardiac drips required and tele required; assignments could be all PCU, all MS/Tele, or a mix of PCU and MS/Tele depending on the acuity of the patients and staffing Ratio / Census: Ratio: 1:4-5; Please note this unit has a high staffing ratio Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR Scrub Color: Navy Blue RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend Floating: Yes, within facility Call Requirements: None Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: New Year’s Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1 Memorial Day: Monday, May 27 Independence Day: Thursday, July 4 Labor Day: Monday, September 2 Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29 Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25 Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
