Shift: 3x12 Days 7a-7p, weekends (either Fri, Sat, Sun or Sat, Sun, Mon), On CallStart date: Orientation held every other week on FridayRatios: Average Daily Census is 22 casesYears of experience REQ: 2 Years RN Experience; 1 Year of In-Specialty ExperienceFirst-timers accepted: Yes if Experience Requirement MetWeekend REQ: YesCerts REQ: BLSCall Requirement: 1 Day of Call per Week; 1-2 weekend per 4-5 week schedule (spread out), ex. Sat & Sun 7a-7p call, Sat & Sun 2nd call 7a-7p, Sat 2:1 (2nd call 7a-7p & 1st call 7p-7a) and Sun 2nd call (7a-7p)Call Details: Sunday - Friday nights 7p-7a are covered with staff every week. The only time anyone else needs to cover those is if someone calls in or is scheduled off. Holidays (major) are covered by call shifts (emergencies only) – same hours as listed above, even if it lands on a weekday. There is a 30 minute response time when on call.100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN licenseRTO Restrictions: noneGuaranteed Hours: 36Special Requirements: Circulate and Scrub Experience; Cardiac and General Surgery, Vascular, Thoracic, Robotics, Proficient at vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting
MUST BE PROFICIENT IN THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
*Vascular (including AV fistulas/grafts, Aortic surgeries/bypasses, femoral to popliteal or distal bypasses, carotids, embolectomies),*Ortho (arthroscopies and total joints),*General (including colorectal/colon resections, laparoscopic assisted surgeries, whipples, liver resections, thyroids, mastectomies),*ENT (trachs, laryngectomies, radical neck dissections),*Urology (cystectomies, nephrectomies, prostatectomies, various implants, cysto related procedures),*Robotics (gyn, colorectal, hernias, lap nissens)*GYN (abdominal/vaginal hysterectomies, posterior/anterior repairs).
Submission Requirements:Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked perm
Flu Shot: Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF. CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC FLU SEASON IS OCTOBER 1st - MARCH 31st. NOT REQUIRED OUTSIDE OF THAT WINDOW.
