Location: Shreveport, LADuration: Late January - June 2025Schedule: 3-7 day blocks throughout the month for gaps on their schedulesShift: 8a-5p in house, night call, Call: 5p-8aPatient volume: TBDScope: No clinic, no elective OR, OR is only urgent or emergent. day and night coverage of the intensive care unit, trauma service, and emergency general surgery as well as back-up coverage as scheduled. Solo coverage with back up, resident. Taking cancer center calls, cover acute care surgery at night (except for Fri and Sat night) Responsible for surgical airway at night. Take call for trauma pts, acute care surgery mon-fri, EMR: EpicAffiliated Hospital: Level 1 trauma centerGroup/support: APPsRequirements: Active LA or IMLC license, Board certified, fellowship in GS/Surg Critical Care
