Job Description:FGS, LLC is seeking a Senior-Level Systems Administrator (Linux focused) to support the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), at the Suitland Federal Center in Suitland, MD. Candidates must have at least 10 years' of enterprise grade systems administration experience with Windows and Linux based Operating Systems to include work in cloud computing environments. The position is in support of a unique mission requirements at ONI with products provided to the IC community as a service. Personnel filing this role will be a member of a team of security and IT professionals, tasked with administration and further development of the capability.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain operational status and IA posture of production and development systemsResponsible for secure server baseline build and application deployment for Linux RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows systemsCreate, deploy and manage virtual machines, templates, clones, and snapshots in vCenterConfigure and manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Authorization servicesProvide Tier 3 support to on-site engineers for cloud-hosted servicesDevelop custom Linux and Windows scripts as necessary to improve functionalityProvide product architecture and configuration recommendationsDevelop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Develop and execute security test plans and pre-deployment test plansApply Windows and Linux patches, updates, and configuration changes as determined by ISSMPatch, harden, and build quarterly Linux and Windows virtual machine images and update associated security documentationPerform vulnerability scans using ACAS, Retina, WASSP, and SECSCNDevelop system design documents, requirements specifications, and drawingsDocument and submit Weekly Activity Reports to the customer
Required Qualifications
Current DoD Cyber Security Workforce Certification of IAT Level II or betterHeavily experienced with Linux GUI, command line, and IPTablesExperienced with DoD STIGS, Benchmarks, and associated security automation toolsExperienced with management of cloud-based services, storage, and computeFamiliar with new DoD RMF Process and older DIACAP processFamiliar with configuration and operation of PKI for user and web authenticationDesired Qualifications
Experienced in the Intelligence Community or Military environment preferredCurrent Linux and/or Windows certifications preferredCisco certifications also preferredFamiliar with Remedy Incident Management softwareBachelor's degree - computer science/information systems preferredEducation Requirements
