This role requires a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is excited by change rather than maintaining the status quo. You will translate Zinnia’s strategic priorities into impactful communication initiatives that support our shift from bespoke services to standardized, product-led solutions. This means partnering with key stakeholders—including the People team, Marketing, senior leadership, and external vendors—to craft compelling messages that resonate with our global workforce of over 3,000 employees. As we undergo significant transformation following several strategic acquisitions, we need someone who can make complex topics simple, intuitive, and engaging. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring employees are informed, aligned with our vision, and motivated to become ambassadors for Zinnia. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker passionate about change management, adept at delivering clear and impactful messaging, and a creative problem solver who continuously explores new ways to engage employees. Aligned with our core values of be bold, team up, and deliver value, you will guide teams through change and shape Zinnia’s future success.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Create new, and improve existing, internal communication channels for driving employee engagement and to share strategic information with employees.Partner with external marketing vendors to align communication strategies, manage agency relationships, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels to effectively amplify the company’s brand and strategic initiatives.Build internal communications editorial plans, calendars, and publishing schedules.Manage the editorial calendar and content balancing input from key internal stakeholders across a range of business lines and geographies.Research, write, and edit content pieces/assets including articles, slack messages, emails, scripts, memos, and other communication collaterals.Research, write, and edit content for the internal newsletters and external publications.Manage deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously and meet changing demands and adapt to frequently changing priorities.Identify measurements for all communications-related materials and routinely analyze communications performance.Champion the use of collaboration tools and such to ensure team members stay engaged and informed.Act as a communications partner for internal groups and help them develop narrative plans that tie multiple communication moments together into broader strategies.Understand and translate the Zinnia brand and style guidelines into a clear, confident, and human voice.WHAT YOU’LL NEED:Experience in supporting business transformation.Fintech or Insuratech experience or a closely related field.Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English or a related field.15+ years of writing/editing/proofreading experience in corporate communications, journalism, publishing, public relations, marketing or related field, including five years of people management experience.Strong project management and organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Experience in dealing with executive leaders.High attention to detail and accuracy.Passion for storytelling and ability to research, write, and edit content.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?Zinnia offers excellent career progression and competitive compensation.
