Certification Details BLS ACLS NIH Stroke Certification State License 1 Verification Job Details 36 or 48 Hour Guarantee Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: General Diagnoses include ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, Post-op complications, Cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, Liver failure, Drug overdose, ESRD on CRRT; Block scheduling is not guaranteed; No Travel Pairs (regardless if one is on another unit) Job Requirements Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Ratio / Census: 1:2-3 (Traveler should be prepared for the possibility of taking a 3rd patient); 24 Rooms with average daily census of 19 Unit Systems: Pyxis, Epic, SBAR Scrub Color: Navy Blue Schedule Information RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend Floating: Yes, within facility Call Requirements: Not specified Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis. Locals Accepted - Same Rate Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
