Job Title: ServiceNow Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a ServiceNow Engineer to join our team, focusing on implementing, configuring, and managing the ServiceNow platform. This individual will play a key role in driving platform innovation and working with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions. You'll collaborate closely with ServiceNow partners and various business units to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions, ensuring operational excellence through best practices and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage in the design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow modules such as IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), Security Operations, Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC)/Integrated Risk Management (IRM), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), and other ServiceNow products as per business needs.

- Build integrations and custom applications on the Now Platform using tools like Flow Designer, ServiceNow Studio, and Integration Hub. Implement inbound/outbound web services APIs, automated workflows, and scheduled jobs to streamline processes and enhance platform capabilities.

- Provide expert guidance in IT Asset Management, Configuration Management processes, and use of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) to drive effective asset tracking and control.

- Leverage advanced platform features such as Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, and Contextual Search to optimize service delivery and enhance user experiences across the business.

- Ensure platform security and compliance by utilizing field encryption, key management, and other security measures integrated into the Now Platform.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ServiceNow implementation partners and internal platform support teams, to design, test, and roll out new ServiceNow solutions while maintaining best practices in software development life cycle (SDLC).

- Facilitate Agile development practices such as Scrum/SAFe to support story writing, backlog maintenance, and prioritization. Help teams in sprint planning and release delivery by providing practical forecasts.

- Act as a mentor to other engineers, developers, and team members, coaching them on Agile methodologies and the effective use of the ServiceNow platform for solution delivery.

- Develop and maintain implementation roadmaps for the platform and assist in detailed design and planning to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

- Use data-driven decision-making to drive performance improvements and report progress through data visualization and metrics.

- Apply a pragmatic approach to architecture design, balancing company needs with technical constraints, and ensuring optimal delivery of solutions.

Required Qualifications:

- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the installation, configuration, and management of the ServiceNow platform.

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer and Implementation Specialist.

- Solid knowledge of ITIL service lifecycle and ITSM best practices.

- Proven experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS) and web technologies.

- Experience integrating external data sources and APIs (REST/SOAP).

- Skilled in platform security and best practices for maintaining ServiceNow operations and configurations.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience configuring Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) / Integrated Risk Management (IRM) applications within ServiceNow.

- Familiarity with the Automated Test Framework (ATF) for validating platform implementations.

- Experience with Agile Development 2.0 for managing ServiceNow projects (Scrum/SAFe), including writing and refining user stories.
