At Webster Bank, our financial intermediation activities are organized broadly around three distinct lines of business: the Consumer Bank, the Commercial Bank, and HSA Bank.
This position will be aligned with the
Commercial Bank , reporting into the Platforms and Solutions team within the Commercial Administration organization.
As part of Webster Bank’s robust risk management approach, the Commercial Bank utilizes Sageworks (Abrigo) - a web-based Loan Origination System (LOS) that enables the day-to-day execution of hundreds of colleagues. Abrigo’s lending and credit risk modules are leveraged by lending/underwriting, portfolio management, credit administration, and operations teams to drive increased visibility into the bank’s loan portfolio and to streamline our internal risk management processes.
The Commercial Bank is hiring a
Senior Analyst, Commercial LOS
to be responsible for the day-to-day execution, administration, and maintenance of the lending / credit risk software. This individual will work to improve the products usability and employee engagement through process improvements, system enhancements, and user training. The position calls for significant collaboration with the Commercial Bank’s various business units and will provide high visibility into all levels of the organization.
You Will Be Responsible For
(Major Duties and Responsibilities)
Serving as a front line (colleague facing) subject matter expert
- requires an intimate understanding of the bank’s implementation of the Sageworks LOS platform, including but not limited to, the modules and data fields utilized, the data sources required to effectively operate the software, and the key data outputs derived from the softwareOngoing maintenance and improvement of templates, custom fields, and data configurationsOngoing access control maintenance
- includes approving access for new joiners and colleagues that transition roles; monitoring of user access levels in conjunction with business unit leaders; managing proxy approvals; monitoring delegation of authority requestsBuilding out internal knowledge collateral
- includes the creation and maintenance of user procedures; includes creation of succinct training for system navigation / foundational tasks that underpin most colleague’s daily usageCollaborate with various divisions around the bank
- this position will work with several teams to ensure daily system usage and monthly/quarterly risk reporting are in line with bank requirementsManage platform enhancements and bugs
- working with the Sageworks / Abrigo product team, this individual will manage, track, support, and escalate bugs and enhancements as necessary and work with front line users on follow up of enhancements and bugsYou Will Need To Have
(EDUCATION, EXERIENCE & SKILLS)
At least 2 full years of experience
in the financial services industry or technology space is preferred, with experience in one or more of the following areas: lending / loan origination, underwriting, portfolio management, credit reporting, credit administration, product management, financial analyticsFamiliarity with some combination of
Abrigo Sageworks, nCino, Salesforce FSC , or
Precision Lender
is requiredStrong analytical and operational capabilities , with an ability to manage projects and timelines while effectively managing stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skills ; ability to produce high-quality, succinct deliverablesSelf-motivated, inquisitive, and resourceful working style , focused on continuous improvement.Team player with a positive attitude
and contributes to an energetic and motivated team environment with a strong sense of urgency and work ethic.Ability to collaborate and execute in a fast-paced, high demand, dynamic environment
while balancing multiple initiatives, priorities, and projects.Willingness to travel (domestic)

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 USD to $105,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
