Job Description

ASRC Federal is seeking a full time Bus Driver

in North Charleston, SC.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Drivers are required to drive 15 passenger vans, 37-55 passenger Buses transporting students to and from the airport, hotels, the Dorms and various other locations depending on requirements set by the GovernmentDrivers are required to do a daily pre-trip assessment of the Bus / Van following the established DOT regulations.Drivers are required to fuel and clean the buses/vans at the end of each shift.Requirements

All drivers shall have a valid South Carolina driver's license, and for positions or duties requiring such, a valid South Carolina commercial driver's license (CDL), Endorsement Require P- passenger and/or S- Students, and be approved by appropriate Federal, State, and municipal laws, codes, and regulations in connection with operating a transportation serviceAll drivers must comply with all driver qualifications as directed by Part 391, Federal Motor Carrier Safety RegulationsMust have basic customer service skillsTransportation operates 7 days a week 24 hours a day, candidate will be required to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays and be very flexibleMust be able to pass a background check, drug test, and physicalHigh School Diploma, GED preferredMust be at least 18 years of age.Preferred Qualifications

Currently possess or ability to obtain a qualified chauffeur's license approved by appropriate federal, state and municipal officials and in accordance with all applicable laws
