Job Description
This opportunity is part of the Global Technology Infrastructure & Operations team (GTIO), where our mission is to deliver modern and relevant technology that supports the way McDonald's works. We provide best-in-class foundational technology products and services including Global Networking, Cloud, End User Infrastructure, and IT Service Management. It's our goal to always provide an engaging, relevant, and simple experience for our customers.
The Technical Product Analyst role is part of the End User Infrastructure & Operations team in Global Technology and reports to the Senior Manager of Employee Experience. This person will build, cultivate, and strengthen McDonald's end-user products and services. They will have a solid understanding and focus on our end-user applications and services, ensuring that we maintain strong security compliance with policies and effectively remediate vulnerabilities. The Technical Product Analyst will work closely with the End User Infrastructure & Operations product managers, product analysts, and business collaborators to safeguard our systems and protect against potential threats. Their expertise will be crucial in maintaining a robust security posture and ensuring the safety of our end-user applications.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology individual to help shape the transformation of infrastructure and operations products and services to the entire McDonalds environment.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges associated with end-user application security issues. Regularly review reporting tools to ensure they effectively capture and present data related to end-user application vulnerabilities. Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and potential vulnerabilities. Develop actionable insights and strategies to address identified vulnerabilities. Collaborates with various department groups to align on security goals, gain support for initiatives, and ensure effective communication of security policies and procedures as they relate to end-user applications. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to maintain and enhance the security posture of end-user applications. Ensure that security measures are up-to-date and effective in protecting against potential threats. Prepare and present detailed reports on security findings, remediation plans, and progress to partners. Ensure clear and effective communication to keep all relevant parties informed and engaged. Writes epics, user stories, acceptance criteria in automation scripts and participates in all agile events of the product group as a team leader. Builds and maintains strong working relationships with multiple diverse collaborators across the company, including members of executive leadership. Partners and maintains good relationships with managed service providers and stakeholder groups Understands complex customer issues, converting them into problem statements and provides out of box solutions through design thinking. Invests time to continuously improve product analysis capabilities and close skill gaps. Qualifications
Passion for online and mobile technology, and knowledge of industry structure, trends and influential companies. Proficient in delivering clear and concise messages to senior collaborators through written and verbal communication. 4+ years of product execution / technical business analyst experience with a Bachelor's degree or 2+ years relevant experience and a Master's degree. Experience defining user experience needs, writing epics, stories, and acceptance criteria in any automation scripting language such as Gherkin etc. 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft products Direct experience on an Agile team. Demonstrated experience in conducting user research. Demonstrated capabilities working in Jira and Confluence. Extremely knowledgeable about software development / programming due to the technical nature of the role. Preferred Qualifications
At least 1-2 years of experience in change and design initiatives, covering areas such as operations, IT, and product development. Significant experience in user centric designs to drive the right customer journey outcomes.
