Job DescriptionLoad and unloads trucks (flatbeds and vans) with finished goods and raw materials using a forklift or a pallet jack.Determines proper material for loading from Pick List.Determines proper material for unloading from packing list, stores raw materials and finished goods in proper locations.Makes sure that shipments are properly loaded on trucks and that loads are tarped and strapped per company policy.Moves material within warehouse from location to location and from Production line to warehouse as required.Identifies raw materials via visual observation and use of labels.Keeps work area and equipment clean and orderly. Assures warehouse and yard are kept in orderly and clean condition.Identifies finished goods via substrate, thickness measurement and label.Performs daily checklist on forklift and makes sure logs are maintained.Locates material in warehouse daily inventory reports.Fills forklift propane tanks as required.Places tarps on top of loaded trucks with forklift.Processes load paperwork, signing out drivers, giving and retaining proper copies.Qualifications
High School Diploma2+ years prior shipping/receiving experience in a busy warehouse environment.Forklift trained and certified.
