Position Summary

The Contracts Analyst professional is an integral part of the organization and Contracts team working collaboratively within the team and with our business partners in Legal, Program Management, Finance, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to achieve the company business objectives. The candidate will have the opportunity to gain U.S. Government and Commercial Contracting knowledge and experience and is expected to bring with them the desire and ability to learn with a strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and technical capabilities to adapt to new systems and information quickly. Annualized pay rate for this position is $75,000. to $95,000.

Duties & Responsibilities

The position is for someone eager to learn about Contracts and the organization that requires an attention to detail for quality, accuracy, completeness and timeliness. The role is entrusted and charged with:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Supporting the Contracts team in areas such as non-disclosure agreements, contract administration, audits, proposal support, and reporting.* Reviewing contractual documents for accuracy and completeness for data entry into the company's new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Deltek system.* Ensuring contractual information relied upon by the Contracts team and other internal stakeholders is accurately and timely recorded into Deltek to facilitate contract administration, work authorizations, report generation, financial information, audit data calls and more.* Developing the work instructions for entry of contractual information into Deltek, report writing, and how to use the system's contract module.* Ensuring Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other FAR supplements, mandatory flow-downs, terms and conditions are captured.* The ability to Identify various types of Contracts (CPFF/CPIF/CAF/FFP, and Time & Material) for services and product for applicable contract terms and conditions requirements.* Working independently and collaboratively to:o Support quality improvement initiatives which could include terms and conditions of contract, processes, business tools and other initiatives.o Comply with company policies and procedures to identify areas of improvement within Contracts or between Contracts and other functional organizations.o Liaison with Subcontracts Management to identify contract flow-down provisions, and additional terms as required.o Develop an operational and functional understanding of the company to effectively influence change to process improvements.o Problem Solving - Research and investigate topics or issues as assigned for solution development.o Ensure consistency in the application of processes and procedures.o Perform special projects and other assignments as assigned.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:* Gain familiarity with U.S. Government Acquisition Regulations FAR, DFAR, and other Agency Supplements.* Understand Security and document handling requirements.* Understand Contract Management System, documentation and record retention requirements.

Qualifications

SKILLS REQUIRED:* Employ effective written and verbal communication skills internally and externally.* Interpersonal skills, including ability to work as part of a team and managing customer relations.* Attention to detail and accuracy.* Independently organize, prioritize, and simultaneously manage multiple tasks and priorities.* Self-starter with a positive attitude who is able to take ownership of projects and interact in a professional manner.* Demonstrate ability to reconcile issues and drive solutions to closure.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).* Technical aptitude to adapt to new systems and information quickly.* Both in-office work and remote work required.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* 3-5 years' work experience.* B.A. or B.S. degree.* Demonstrates strong work ethic and judgement.* Effective organizational skills with ability to prioritize work assignments.* Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.* Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential solutions even if no solution seems apparent.* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.* Technical aptitude.* Ability and willingness to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.* Must be a US Citizen.

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
