Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical / TelemetryPrimary location: GatewayShift Requirement: 12hr Days EVERY WEEKEND 6:30-7Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)Patient Population: Post cardiac procedure (heart cath, ablation, pacemaker), A-fib RVR, ESRD, CHF, sepsis, tracheostomies, nephrostomy tubes/CBI/renal biopsy, behavioral health/detox.Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to changeJob Requirements
Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong cardiac/tele experience, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience.Skillset: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), recover heart caths (femoral/TR bands), PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, drip management (cardiac-cardizem, amio, etc., other-heparin, lasix, protonix, etc.). CBI, detox/CIWA protocol experience, central line care. Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!Schedule Information
Contract Length: 13 weeksStart: Bi-weekly orientationGuaranteed Hours: 36 (will accept 48 upon request)Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every Weekend. Every other holiday.Unit Specific Information
