Chief Industries' Corporate Office is seeking an ERP Developer to join the Chief team. This position is responsible for analysis, programming, and support of Chief computer applications including the IFS ERP System. The ERP Developer must be eager to acquire understanding of Chief products, processes, and standards.
Education:An associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or relevant experience in a similar position is preferred.Experience:
Experience with a variety of software technology is required.Working knowledge of Angular, Java, Python, PL/SQL, TSQL, Oracle, SQL Server.Knowledge of C#, CSS, HTML and other JavaScript/Typescript frameworks is a plus.Familiarity with IFS ERP preferredEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, code, test, and publish projects applying established Chief standards and based on Chief priorities, programmer expertise, and divisional needsModularize and reuse code where practicalKeep code repository system up to date.Provide support of existing applications as neededProvide training for users and staff members on procedures required for executing applicationsDevelopment of reports using Crystal Reports, IFS Quick Reports and other tools as neededCollaborative interaction with IT staff and customers to assist in problem solving, defining projects, and understanding divisional procedures and goalsActs as liaison with manufacturers and vendors of software and application products for ongoing Chief initiatives such as EDI or 3rd party interfacesContribute to the enhancement of Chief's growth by learning new skills needed to support our projectsKeep the team updated on project status by timely reporting of progress with provided toolsFamiliarity with working in an agile/scrum cadenceProvide unparalleled personal attention to meeting the needs of our customersTreat all stakeholders with dignity and respectPro-actively identify, document, and resolve issuesLead cross functional work groups to identify and document detailed requirements, workflow,information sources and distribution paths, and system specifications
Evaluate user requirements and implement working solutions through system design, analysis, testing, training, and documentationApply technical and business knowledge in the analysis of user requirementsWillingness to be available outside of regular work hours for maintenance functions such as software roll-out and on-call availabilityOther duties as assignedGeneral Duties and Responsibilities:
