**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)
**Job Specialty:** Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU)
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2-5 years of Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience
**License:** Registered Nurse
**Certifications:** BLS, PALS
**Must-Have:**- Experience with invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators, and inotropes- Preferably experience with the management of post-op complex congenital cardiac patients- Preferably experience with ECMO, CRRT, Berlin Hearts, and Heartmate III
**Job Description:**- Provide care for patients with complex congenital cardiac disease, heart failure, myocarditis, cardiomyopathy, post-op congenital cardiac conditions, Berlin Hearts, and Heart Mate III.- Required to titrate drips.- Utilize respiratory therapy equipment such as ventilators, tracheostomies, Cervos, LTVs, high frequency, and occasional home ventilators.- Engage in self-scheduling with the team.- Wear navy blue scrubs, with the option for a colorful top.- Attend 2-3 days of unit orientation.- Work every other weekend.- Float on a rotational basis with other travelers.- Work one major and one minor holiday as needed.- Access and utilize Epic modules.
