Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: NICU Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period Experience: At least 1 year required; First-timers accepted with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a level 3 NICU License: Valid CA license required; No temporary licenses accepted Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Willingness to float between like units, including the Mother Baby unit- Commitment to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting Job Description: - Work in a Level 3 NICU with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3- Participate in a 40-hour non-billable orientation- Flexible to fill in necessary shifts; weekends may exceed every other weekend- Complete required modules pre-start and annually, with non-billable hours averaging 16 hours- Scrub Color: Royal Blue for RNs- Charting through Meditech software- All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state- Communication devices may be provided if required for the assignment- COVID-19 Vaccine is required, with Medical/Religious Exemptions allowed- Flu Vaccine status unknown
