Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Job Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty required, except for the SICU unit License: Compact or relevant State License required at time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS & NIHSS required; TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Proficiency in all transplant skills - Level 1 Trauma experience - PA lines experience - COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) Job Description: - Trauma/Surgical experience required, focusing on various traumatic injuries (e.g., MVCs, penetrating wounds, falls) - Experience with cancer surgery, liver transplants, and similar procedures - Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby - Background and licensure checks required, no hits accepted - Orientation: 8 hours non-billable - Respond to calls within 1 hour during assigned call hours - Call frequency: 2-3 shifts per 6-week schedule period - Weekend call schedules divided into two shifts: 6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM Please ensure you have discussed any previous employment details with the facility, as rehire eligibility is checked regularly.
