**Job Title: Metal Finisher****Job Description**Looking for a Metal Finisher for 2nd shift. Post welding, finishers will use hand and air tools to polish/regrain to number 4 finish. Candidates should have experience using electric or air tools, and die grinders. The 1st shift operates from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday, with Friday overtime as needed. The 2nd shift operates from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM Monday through Thursday, with Friday overtime as needed. The Metal Finisher will report directly to the Welding Supervisor and Plant Manager, and will communicate with them daily for job duties and responsibilities. The candidate will also work with 10 other welders in the final assembly department, taking parts that have been machined or cut to size and fabricating the pieces together. The position involves 95% TIG welding and 5% MIG welding, and requires using hand tools to finish rough edges on newly stamped or formed stainless steel or aluminum. Tools include angle grinders, sanders, tube benders, drill presses, and saws. They are looking for someone willing to start learning a trade and stay with the company long-term. The work environment is very clean, with a total of 84 employees, and 10 welders in the welding group. The dress code requires working attire with a welding helmet, welding gloves, and steel toe boots. The culture is laid back and family-oriented, with the facility broken down into multiple areas for work in process (WIP). Departments include Engineering, Machining, Welding, Metal Finishing, and Shipping/Receiving.
