SummaryThe PE Production Control Specialist will play a vital role in establishing MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC. This position is responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing process is efficient, cost-effective, and delivers high-quality products on time, while also coordinating with other departments and managing resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive plant control, including production planning, production performance analysis, and BOM/EO control.About MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe)MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of Battery System Assembly (BSA) and Power Electric (PE) systems, which are key parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly. Other duties may be assigned.)Planning and Performance AnalysisAct as the initial point of contact for the customer (HMGMA, HMMA, KaGA) production plan and monitor customer production plan changes and irregular ordersInform related departments about changes to the production plan (Schedule, UPH, Shift plan, Volume, Working hours, CKD / Pilot car order)Adjust production plans with the customer as needed (in case of logistics, production, or quality trouble)Maintain the EDI process (CustomerMobis) and conduct contingency plans when trouble with BroadcastMaintain the Work Order Process and production information in MES (Line assembly code, Broadcast data, Fool-proof barcode key data, Working time pattern)Maintain JIS Lead time information (Docking station, Delivery Lead time)Collect and maintain production index in MES, ERP, or manually (Actual vs. planned, Working time, Hour Per Unit, Downtime, OEM Line stop, Production CUM, Inefficient expense, Scrap cost, Line assignment efficiency, Overtime)Prepare monthly/weekly production reports (Production index analysis and improvement)Ensure the accuracy of production index system data (System vs. Actual)Make an irregular plant comprehensive reportMaintain plant information and indexRespond to Korea headquarters requirementsSupport/perform special projects as necessaryBOM/EO ControlThe initial point of contact for Customer Engineering Change includes BOMSAP Material Master management - create part numbers and maintain info (MRP view, Work center, Routing, Production version, Standard cost, Module no)Monitor incoming EDI for brand-new parts dailyMaintain SAP PP Module process and implementation (LTP, MRP, PIR, Backlog, Production result adjustment complete/component)Maintain production BOM in SAP/MES (Part number, Material information, Effective Point Information)Material consumption tracking for material closing and inventory accuracy (weekly, Monthly)Maintain and distribute PART LIST MASTER to all departmentAble to track material history for obsolescence or gain/loss itemsFollow up with IT team for SAP system improvement in user's aspectCoordinate EO (Engineering Change Order) implementation with all plant departmentsManage EO part changes (EC(Engineering Change) alert, 1st sequence recording, EC communications internal/external)EO info management (participate in internal/external EC meetings, track upcoming EP (Effective Point))Maintain EO systems (G-EPI, SAP)Supervisory Responsibilities: No, but potentially responsible for supervising and managing a team of employees, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and feedback as needed in the future.Basic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required and preferred for this position.)Required Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry-specific experience required.2+ years with either Production planning, BOM/EO management, or office work experience in automotive manufacturing.Working experience with Hyundai / Kia / MobisBachelor's degree in engineeringExperienced in automotive assembly/manufacturingPreferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong sense of responsibilityDetailed knowledge of Just in Sequence processes and systems in the Automotive industrySAP (PP/MM/SD module) and MES experienceAnalytic skills in engineering drawingKorean language skills to communicate with Korean HeadquarterExperienced in Plant set upComprehensive problem-solving skills across the plantExcellent Leadership skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environmentAbility to speak and write in Korea is a plus
