We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join this highly visible and fast-paced team, contributing to ourfuture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing web-based GUI applications using Python and Plotly Dash, with 5 to 7+ years of Python development experience and a proven track record of creating interactive Python GUI applications. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential. You will work in an Agile development environment, collaborating frequently with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders. Test-driven development, continuous integration, and deployment (CI/CD) are crucial to ensuring high-quality software deliverables.Skills Required:Proficiency in building Flask API and Plotly Dash applications on Google Cloud Platform.Experience with Postgres Database and BigQuery.Experience with ETL or ELT tools and processes in Python/PySpark and SQL (e.g., pandas, numpy).Experience in Docker containerization and GCP development, debugging, and deployment.Experience with test-driven development tools and processes, including unit tests, pytest, and mock.Experience with CI/CD development using tools like GitHub, Tekton, CloudBuild, and Terraform.Skills Preferred:
Experience in GUI testing with Plotly Dash testing, Selenium, and Playwright.Experience in writing JavaScript.Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, Cloud Composer, Prefect, and data transformation tools like DBT.Experience with application monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.Ability to leverage AI technology in software development (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot).Experience in writing FastAPI applications.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and take initiative in solving unexpected problems.Experience Required:
8 to 10+ years of overall experience in Software Engineering.5 to 7+ years of experience in Python development.Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related quantitative field.
