Oracle Pl/SQL Engineer II Location: MN or Remote Description: Purpose The Software Engineer IT is responsible for developing, testing, deploying and maintaining technology solutions. This position analyzes, designs and develops tests and test-automation. This position collaborates cross-functionally with team members to achieve innovative, business-driven technology solutions. Daily Responsibilities/Job Description: Development activities to set up interfaces in AWS EC2 Development activities include developing Oracle pl/sql or perl programs to intake client files and convert to internal standard load formats Set up load process to take converted files and load to Oracle DB Unit testing to cover all test cases based on requirements. Implementation of new code to production Production support after deployment in production environment Qualifications/years of experience: Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent 5 years' experience in programming. Must Haves: Oracle and Pl/sql programming is a must. Experience in Unix/Linux and shell scripts Experience in perl programming Technology Requirements: Oracle, Perl, pl/sql, unix/linux Additional Requirements: Exposure to AWS- EC2 is added advantage Soft Skills Needed: Candidates should be able to understand requirements. Should have skills to articulate their views and communicate with team Basic skills to send emails. Best worker should be able to bring up any challenges proactively to the team. Best worker will initiatives to help other team members with any technical issues. Quick learner and figure out/learn application knowledge by themself. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain technology solutions and ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements; assist with solution design Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites Use test driven development in an agile environment Leverage and contribute components for the continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline for technology solutions Collaborate cross-functionally with team members to achieve innovative, business-results driven technology solutions Consistently apply best practices and drive for continuous improvement Actively participate in Agile ceremonies Other duties as assigned Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required 2 years of experience with application development or packaged software implementations Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship Experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.) Previous experience working an in Agile/Product Delivery model Previous experience in PBM / health care industry Understanding of security implications of domain DICE cclausenc4techservices.com
