Job Description:As a Project Manager/Scrum Master, you will lead the project delivery process through the entire lifecycle, ensuring effective management of project plans, resource allocation, and risk management. This role involves coordinating Agile ceremonies, facilitating team productivity, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. You will create an environment that fosters team effectiveness, helps eliminate obstacles, and ensures adherence to Agile principles, all while driving continuous improvement and delivering value to the client.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive project delivery throughout the entire project lifecycle, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management.Coordinate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, and Release Planning.Track and communicate project progress regarding schedule, cost, and risks to the team and stakeholders.Establish an effective working environment for the team, helping to remove obstacles to productivity.Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions to maintain focus.Foster strong relationships between the team, product owner, and other stakeholders.Monitor and report team velocity and other relevant project metrics.Promote continuous improvement and facilitate increased team productivity.Assist the Product Owner with Product Backlog management, ensuring clarity and prioritization.Ensure teams practice core Agile principles while adhering to client project management practices.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

Strong understanding of software development life cycle models and Agile project management principles.Ability to engage with customers, understanding their business practices and managing expectations.Capacity to set performance standards, hold team members accountable, and maintain team engagement.Proficient in helping Product Owners create and prioritize Product Backlogs effectively.Excellent interpersonal skills, including mentoring, coaching, and team collaboration.Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities.Experience in analyzing and documenting business and system processes.Ability to balance competing demands related to quality, scope, schedule, and cost.Well-versed in Scrum and Kanban Agile methodologies.Expertise in project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and MS Office.Experience with Agile collaboration tools like Team Foundation Server, JIRA, or Version One.PMP and CSM Certifications are required.Experience with the SAFe framework is required, and SAFe Certification is preferred.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
