The successful candidate will be working for one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. The Business Systems application team develops and supports many custom solutions for approximately 84,000 miles of natural gas, gasoline, crude oil, and carbon dioxide (CO2) pipelines and over 150 terminals for storing and handling various chemicals and other products. In the Enterprise Systems group, the candidate will support various third party applications (on premise as well as SaaS) for Shared Services business functions (e.g. Facilities, Corporate Communications, Legal, Procurement, etc.). The candidate will participate in project meetings, provide input to project plans, and provide status updates. Day-to-day tasks include working with internal teams as well as vendors, maintaining documentation, troubleshooting issues, coding, testing, and providing on-call support. Role description: Provides subject matter expertise in the requested application. Assists in implementing, upgrading, or optimizing specific technology. Utilizes professional expertise to perform analysis, project management and/or development activities with technology. Requires demonstrated subject matter expertise in the specified application. Position Requirements Position Requirements: Candidate should have minimum experience of 6 to 8 years handling Hyperion EPM applications Very good experience in Hyperion HFM, FDMEE, DRM, Planning, ESSBASE, EPBCS, and ODI Experience in developing and maintaining application integrations using FDMEE, ODI, and Data Management Ability to trace and diagnose data integration differences from various data sources (MSSQL query experience preferred) Maintain On-Prem and Cloud EPM environments including service monitoring, performance tuning, security, and patching Develop and support reporting through FR and Smart View, including maintenance of Excel VBA reporting logic Identify and implement improvements to existing processes (efficiency, cost reductions, reduction in calculations' execution times, improved integrations) Engage with Financial Reporting to design, develop, test, and implement changes to business rules, integrations, metadata, and web forms in HFM Proven experience with financial concepts and reporting Exposure in core DRM concepts like Exports, Imports, Blenders, Action Scripts, Property Definition and Property Categories Support the FP&A team running the Budget, Forecast, and Long-Range Outlook processes in Hyperion Planning Identify and document opportunities for improvement within the Essbase suite in alignment with the needs of the business and proactively take the steps necessary to setup, test, and deploy systemic improvements in alignment with best-practices Experience in migrating Essbase cubes from On-Prem to OCI Cloud Collaborate with various stakeholders to implement new processes in the EPM Cloud environment Oversees position requirements and performs SOX internal controls, including providing evidence of internal control performance to management internal and external auditors Behavioral: Strong organizational, interpersonal, and stake holder expectation management skills Excellent communication (written oral) Strong problem-solving skills Should be able to identify stakeholders, create business case, evaluate options, manage risks. Should be able to gather requirements, create detailed technical design and implement solution Ability to provide routine on-call support Experience in Oil and Gas industry is a plus. Self-driven and ability to perform in demanding environment Strong thought leadership, envisioning and solution skills, with an ability to draw big picture at the same time able to detail on lower level functional issues.
