Major/Essential Functions
Performs regularly scheduled pickup and disposal of refuse around campus. Additional pickups as required.Refuse is taken to landfill as required. Adheres to all operating/safety rules of disposal trucks.Performs regular pickup and disposal of recycling materials around campus. Maintains proper records.Performs required operator maintenance, checking fluid levels, tires, lights, mirrors and related equipment for safe operation of refuse vehicles.Maintains vehicle, tools, equipment and materials in an orderly and safe condition. Operates vehicles including pickups, trucks and vans. Secures vehicle, equipment and areas of operation.Performs general maintenance duties during slow times including painting dumpsters. Services/repairs dispensers around campus as required.
Required Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or GED. Have or willing to acquire a Class A Driver License within the first 30 days of employment.
