Software Testing Analyst I Job Description Location: Portland, Maine Remote: Remote Type: Contract Job 80830 Seeking an Software Testing Analyst Develop and execute formal plans, procedures and scenarios for manual and automated testing to ensure quality of software applications. Review and assess test coverage to ensure thorough quality review. Plan tests, write test cases/scripts, automate test cases and execute tests. Perform smoke, application, functional and regression testing, including appropriate level of testing to ensure that systems or applications are tested effectively prior to implementation. Document and track test results, defects and other quality metrics. Develop and implement quality standards and best practices, contribute ideas and effort toward continuous improvement. Deliver quality process training to technical staff and act as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners. REQUIRED SKILLSETS: Proficiency with designing and executing test plans to comprehensively and efficiently assure conformance to business and technical specifications Proficiency with creating and maintaining the test data and environment required for the execution of test plans Proficiency with documenting and communicating test results and metrics in a timely and effective manner Required Skills: Experience with API Testing and tooling (Postman) Experience with AWS services (API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SQS) Experience with relational databases, queries (AWS MySQL)
